Since I fancy myself to be an apprentice witch, I decided that Halloween would be a great night to give myself a tarot card reading, while I do a bunch of journal prompts to improve my intuition. And while I know you can’t really see the cards I got in the photo, let me tell you what came out.

The King of Pentacles, the King of Swords, the Four of Wands, and the Two of Cups. Now here is where things get a bit interesting. My person is the King of Swords – he always shows up that way when I pull cards. He is an intellectual, and well spoken, and has a commanding presence. But tonight, he feels like the King of Pentacles. A leader in business, someone who can manifest whatever he wants, and an observer of sorts. And tonight I feel like the King of Swords – just someone who is really in-tune with the universe. That I hold all the secrets. And that when the time is right I will unleash all that I know.

Normally I show up as a quiet card – the Hermit, or the Hanged man, or Magician, or even the Fool

As for the Four of Wands and Two of Cups – well that is very clearly about our connection. I have stated that we are currently in separation, and haven’t spoken to each other in 8 months. I feel like this period of silence is coming to an end soon. I am feeling the pull to reach out to him, but I know that he needs to be the one to come to me. And so I am working on my own life at this time. But the pull is so very strong right now (I am a bit exasperated). But so are my life plans.

Now lets get into the fun part, the synchronicities. I have never gotten more than one king in a spread – it doesn’t matter if I pull 12 cards, or 2 cards. It has never happened for me before. And tonight I got 2. 2 kings that actually represent where my partner and I are in life right now. And as tonight is Halloween, his costume was all the kings in a deck of cards (as seen on facebook). That is a bit zany – even for the amount of synchronicities we have encountered in out lives together. And when I finished the reading the time was 5:55 pm. I googled it – a major transformation is coming. We love major transformations.

I think all these synchronicities are telling me to prepare myself for something big. So that is what I am going to do tonight, while I gorge on some snickers.
